After race No. 26 at Richmond International Raceway, NASCAR will set the field of twelve drivers who will compete for the series championship in the Chase. The top 10 drivers in the Sprint Cup points standings will be locked into the Chase field as will the two drivers in positions 11-20 with the most race victories.

15th - Joey Logano - 1 win
16th - Kasey Kayne - 1 win
Carl Edwards, No. 11 in points and Paul Menard, 13th in points need a win to improve their chances of getting into the Chase.
